Spatburgunder and Run Fatboy Run

Tonight we went to our favorite wine store downtown and grabbed a German Pinot Noir called Spatburgunder "B" from the Pflaz wine region. We would describe this wine as very smooth; Jon and I both really enjoyed this wine. Since riesling is the most common varietal here, red wines are hard to find and a good one is even harder to find. We would put this on our list of "wines to add to our collection."

While we drank our Pinot Noir, we watched the movie "Run FatBoy Run." We would highly suggest this movie, but we consider ourselves biased because we love Simon Pegg. It was very funny and heart warming. Simon Pegg plays a good role as a loser competing with Hank Azaria, the successful and wealthy man, for the love and respect of his ex-fiancee. I loved this movie and can't wait to watch it again. I actually tried to get Jon to watch it over again after we finished it.

You're going to steal my heart with this site. M gave me the address to your other site and I saw the link here and had to take a peek. I'm a spirit fan and love wine. What can I say?! This is a big shout out from Nebraska by the way. Hope that helps as an identifier. If not, come see me at my site...www.intoxicologist.wordpress.com

Oh my god, I hope you keep this site going, I'm always looking for good wine! And a little Run Fatboy Run doesn't hurt either :)

Being a wine lover living in Utah sucks! Liquor laws here are ridiculous and the wine selection is not that great so I love to hear about some other good finds.

Our fav so far is the Clos du val Cabernet Sauvignon, it is so yummy!
